It was noted that a legal right to see any references to the former employer. This is an excellent position has asked my son, I fear that this will result in the application for future employment.

He has a lawyer. You may have the right to see these references. However, you can name your file and clean and numbers on the list of only those who report on their work could be positive.
Two questions:
Do you have these references from previous employers?
Is active in the search for answers to these questions?
